Welcome to Ian Greasby's home page!
This page is dedicated to my attempt at the Tour de Force (Tour de France) charity ride in 2014. It also contains a few stories and pictures of my 6 years in Oman, riding DIrt Bikes through the dunes with my buddies. Heaven.
See my Blog page for Tour de Force updates, training and various recent escapades........
The photo below: The day after my 350km, 4,500m ascent ride from Oxford to Cornwall in a day. July 2013.
This was setting off back from my parents house........ to the train station!

One of my favourite photos of all time. New to Oman in 2004 I was caught entertaining the locals on my XR400.
Spicing up the days events in a small fishing village in the South we named this photo "The (T)Urban Wheelie", Oman 2004.

You have to admit, the setting is outstanding........ in the South of Wahibas, Oman. 2005.
Day 3 of a trip through Wahiba, Mesirah island, Bar al Hackman, and back up through Wahiba sands.
Looking out over the Arabian Sea - just across from the now famous waypoint "Landy". Heaven.

The Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2006. Round 7 of the World Long Distance Overland Rally Championship. 5 days racing approx 400-500km per day through some of the most beautiful dunes in the world.
I came 18th overall, 3rd in class. In 2009 I managed 13th overall and 3rd in class. Dakar dreaming........
